Maple Sugaring for Beginners In-Person
The sap will be running soon! Have you thought about making your own maple syrup? Do you want to know what is needed? Bring your questions to this webinar and UNH Extension's Steven Roberge will discuss the steps from the tree to the table plus the equipment needed to get started making your own syrup.
This webinar is geared to first-timers and beginners. All aspects of maple sugaring will be covered, including tree identification, tapping, collecting and boiling sap, and equipment needing for small scale sugaring. We will also talk about the possibilities of tapping trees other than maple.
Samples will be provided.
