Event Description:

Homeschoolers and kiddos who are home during the day! Have you ever wondered what it takes to run a farm? Where our local produce comes from? Is it like growing fruits and vegetables in your garden at home? Visit Begin Family Farm to find out the answers to these questions and more in this special field trip program!!

Stacy Begin is co-owner of Begin Family Farm with her husband Jeff. Together they have run Begin Family Farm since 2020. She'll talk about everything required to run a farm and give us a behind the scenes look into farm operations. We'll get a tour of the farm and then plant seed pots together for the attendees to take home and eventually plant in their own gardens.

This event is at Begin Family Farm: 105 Witches Spring Rd., Hollis, NH 03049. It is not at the Hollis Social Library.

Who Can Attend:

This event is for school-aged children ages 5 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
