Statement from the Artist:

"I grew up in a home where art, music, reading and aesthetics were valued. There was always a project in process when I was growing up and materials available with which children were free to create. Luckily, I was afforded the opportunity to explore my creative passions at Rhode Island School of Design and later, Kenyon College. I have continued to pursue my artistic interests through classes offered through my local art scene.

I love watercolor! It offers such interesting, spontaneous results. I gravitate toward creating art with natural themes as the delightful details inherent in nature are a joy.  I also enjoy the meditative, yet playful, aspect of Zentangle and dabble in adding those design elements to my work. In addition, I work with clients to produce custom stationery for special events, pet portraits and watercolors that reflect particular interests.   

I live in Hollis, NH with my wonderful husband, 4 active and fun-loving children and a menagerie of pets."
